Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Swansea Bay University Health Board, Estates Department for a proactive and hardworking Estates Storekeeper.
The post will be based at Morriston Hospital and will support all other Health Board premises within the Morriston Estates Unit.
Roles and responsibilities will include:
- Dealing with the supply and delivery of specialist estates stock to ensure adequate supplies on a daily basis are readily available for the Estates Department.
- Ordering and procuring of stock, consumables and Estates services using the Health Boards purchasing system.
- Dealing with queries from colleagues in regard to active and historic orders/invoices etc
- Co-ordinate stores, ensure security, good order and logistical activities to ensure stores are run effectively and efficiently.

The post holder should have good communication skills, the ability to work on their own and as part of the Estates team.
The individual must be able to maintain records and have good organisational skills, be able to follow and adhere to the policies and procedures required within the Health board.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
