Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen in SBU Managed GP Practice for a Senior Administrator.
This post holder is part of the Swansea Bay Health Board - Practice Management Team and will provide support to the Office Manager across a range of duties.
This will include the management of front-line services, general office duties, referrals and practice computing, to ensure the provision of high quality, prudent, front-line administrative services to the patients of the Health Board Managed Practice.
Main duties of the job
The post holder is responsible for supporting the Office Manager in the smooth running of the practice's operational functions and will manage the administrative support for the delivery of patient services including the day-to-day running of the reception services.
The post holder will be responsible for the practice referral management system and will ensure that all referrals meet the time sensitive needs of the patients. This requires developing and maintain a referral system and workflow to track and manage all Practice referrals.
The post holder will support the management of the practice appointment systems and liaise with the necessary staff to ensure clinical rooms are allocated and available for use across both sites.
