Job summary
To work as a Registered Nurse in the Tawe Clinic unit of the Mental Health & Learning Disability Delivery Unit as directed.
Main duties of the job
We are excited to advertise this opportunity for a hard working and enthusiastic registered nurse to join our team on Celyn Ward in Cefn Coed Hospital. Celyn Ward is the Older Peoples admissions ward for Swansea Bay UHB, meaning that all Older peoples admissions come through us. Naturally this means that we need our nurses to be able to work dynamically, responding quickly to changes in risk profile and patient needs.
The post holder will have to be able to work collaboratively with our community services and external agencies, as well as the patients we care for and their families/carers. They will also need to be able to work as a part of a large nursing team, whilst also being able to lead their colleagues on shift as nurse in charge. Excellent communication skills are essential for this post.
If you are a hard working, passionate and enthusiastic RMN and you want to work on a fast paced, dynamic admissions unit then this is the post for you.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
