We have an exciting opportunity to Join the Team here at The New Surgery in Pencoed. We are recruiting for a six session Salaried GP.

We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and motivated GP to join our collaborative, friendly and forward-thinking clinical team due to our growing patient list. The successful candidate can look forward to working in an equitable and supportive environment, which allows staff the time to practise safely and provide a good level of patient care.

The New Surgery, Primary Care Centre, Min Y Nant,

The successful candidate will be employed by the GP Practice/Medical Centre, not -Cwm Taf University Health Board

We are a forward thinking, enthusiastic, and well thought of practice. We are located conveniently on the M4 corridor in purpose built premises, providing a high standard of care for patients. We provide the Vasectomy Service to patients in the Bridgend County Borough area under a Service Level Agreement with the Health Board

Practice Profile:

• 8,500 patients

• 4 GP Partners, 2 Salaried Doctors, 2 practice nurses, 2 HCSW

• Modern purpose-built Primary Care Centre with excellent travel links to both Cardiff and Swansea (2 minutes off junction 35 of the M4).

• Bridgend Vasectomy Clinic

• Training practice for GP Registrars and Foundation Doctors

• Active involvement of the Bridgend East GP Collaborative and Pen-Y-Bont Health federation.

• Support from a cluster pharmacist and primary care-based physiotherapy.

• Low home visit rate.
