Job summary
The post holder will provide an efficient front of house service predominantly out of office hours and on weekends supporting all members of staff working within the Mental Health Department at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital Mental Health Unit.
As well as reception duties, the role will also encompass data entry and other Clerical Duties. The post holder will be expected to portray a positive image and be able to liaise in a professional manner with colleagues, patients and visitors to the Department.
Main duties of the job
- Answer the telephone, deal with queries relevant to the service and/or take accurate messages.
- Meet and greet Visitors, Staff and members of the general public with professionalism and curtesy at all times.
- Receive, open, sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail on a daily basis.
- Use computerised system to book appointments and complete associated processes.
- Use Room Booking system to book meetings.
