An opportunity has arisen for various posts within our Maternity and Gynaecology Unit (antenatal clinic) in Princess of Wales Hospital, Ysbyty Cwm Rhondda and within maternity.
Main duties of the job
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, flexible and motivated Band 2 Healthcare Support Worker with an interest in patient care services to join our friendly, busy team.
The successful applicant will be based at the Maternity and Gynaecology Outpatients Department in Princess of Wales Hospital (antenatal clinic) and ysbyty Cwm Rhonnda but maybe expected to work at other sites within Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board as required.
Applicants will be employed on a permanent contract basis.
This is an exciting role for the successful applicant.
The Post Holder will undertake delegated duties, under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse or Midwife, and following a period of training and completion of core competencies.
This post does not carry managerial responsibility. They will always work under the direction and supervision of a qualified member of staff.
