Job summary
An exciting secondment opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Governance Officer to cover a period of Maternity leave for 12 months. You must seek Line Manager support before applying for the Secondment.
You will be responsible for supporting the corporate governance functions to ensure the efficient functioning of the Health Board's Board Committee and assurance framework, and will be the secretariat for identified committees.
You will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and will be able to lead and motivate others. We are looking for a highly organised individual who is able to build good relationships.
You should be confident, self-motivated and be able to demonstrate a high level of knowledge and expertise in Corporate Governance and supporting Committee meetings.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work closely with the Director of Corporate Governance/Board Secretary and wider Corporate Governance Function to ensure the efficient functioning of the Health Board's Board Committee and assurance framework, and will be the secretariat for identified committees.
The post holder will have demonstrable expertise in a full range of administrative and organisational policies and procedures, acquired through training and relevant experience to Degree level or equivalent.
This post is secondment for 12 months due to Maternity Leave. If you are interested in applying for the secondment position, you must obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying for this post.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
