By collaborating with our respected academic partners, the successful candidate will have the chance to develop their analytical skills alongside experts in the field.
In this role, you will work closely with key stakeholders to produce comprehensive financial plans. Additionally, you will collaborate with our information team to map services to activity and cost dashboards, ensuring a holistic approach to financial management.
Main duties of the job
- Support with financial performance monitoring and financial advice to NWJCC Directorates.
- Provision of financial reporting to demonstrate value for money.
- Provide expertise and advice on value based research and service improvement with NWJCC.
- To have a major contribution to budget setting, financial performance monitoring, provision of financial advice and completion of NHS final accounts and returns, involving close liaison with - and providing assistance and advice to - line managers, NWJCC Commissioning teams, directors and other budget holders, and working within Statutory and UHB procedures, agreed timescales and legal requirements.
- The role requires working to deadlines, particularly during month end reporting, budget setting and financial analysis.
- Will be required to act independently without reference to manager.
- Works with significant discretion to achieve target goals and objectives within broad professional policies and guidelines.
