Job summary
This is an exciting new opportunity to join the public health dietetic team in Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board. The first 12 months of this post will specifically build upon the success of the All-Wales Diabetes Prevention Programme and its wider roll out across the Health Board.
You will be responsible for ensuring a quality and outcome focussed dietetic service for the health board population, delivering against key project performance indicators for a range of services.
Posts will be managed by our Public Health Dietetic Professional Manager who will provide regular supervision sessions. Staff will also have access to an ongoing programme of Motivational Interviewing training and coaching sessions.
The post is based in the uniquely built Keir Hardie University Health Park http://cwmtaf.wales/visiting/keir-hardie-university-health-park/ as well as set up to work from home, whilst ensuring service needs are met.
Full time and part time hours will be considered.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job
This post holder will be responsible for the co-design and evaluation the diabetes prevention programmes within CTM UHB with key stakeholders.
They will be responsible for the development of monthly, quarterly and annual service reports as well as the leadership of a small delivery team and admin resource.
