Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified practitioner to join the Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team which incorporates Liaison Psychiatry and Home Treatment.
You will work within the communities of Bridgend County establishing close working relationships with our Acute Wards, Community Mental Health Teams, Emergency Department and General Wards.
Main duties of the job
Liaison Psychiatry provides a Mental Health Service to the Emergency Department, General Wards and the provision of an Assessment Service for very urgent, urgent and semi urgent GP referrals.
Home Treatment provides patients with Acute Care in the least restrictive environments i.e their own homes enabling them to recover .
You will also work closely with the Acute Ward to enable early discharges supporting patients on their journey home.
You will be working in a Multi Disciplinary environment to ensure that all needs are looked at holistically.
This post is advertised as welsh Desirable at Level 3 Speaking /Listening (or B1 Level if you've learnt Welsh as an adult).This doesn't mean you have to be fluent or be able to write long reports in Welsh;it just means being able to hold simple conversations with the patient.
