Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced Registered Nurse to apply for the demanding role of Senior Nurse for District Nursing.
The applicant must be confident and competent in a wide range of skills and demonstrate evidence of continuing professional learning and development. There is a requirement for a flexible approach to work and an ability to travel between sites in a timely manner.
The successful applicant will hold a Specialist Practitioner Qualification in Community Health Studies and will have a achieved or be working towards a degree at Masters level. A management qualification would also be desirable.
Main duties of the job
There are multiple demands in this exciting role due to the challenging nature of providing care for patients outside of the hospital environment.
Leadership to the District Nursing teams will be paramount and the ability to give assurance to Lead Nurse and Head of Nursing on the safe , effective and efficient care delivery within the locality.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
