Medical Records Clerk - POW

Job summary

These posts offers an opportunity to 2 individual with administration experience. The successful candidates will be responsible for retrieval of case notes for Outpatient Clinics and emergency admissions and also the filing back of these case notes in the Filing Library.

The posts will be based in the Medical Records Department at the Princess of Wales Hospital and the hours of work will be as follows -

Post one

Monday - Friday - 08:30 - 16:30

Post two

Monday - Thursday - 08:30 - 16:30 and Friday - 08:30 - 14:30

Main duties of the job

The successful candidates will join a well established team of staff who are responsible for the filing and retrieval of case notes within the Filing Library. The successful candidates must be numerate and literate and must be able to work under pressure. On the job training will be provided.

Experience working in a busy office environment is desirable but training on the job will be provided.

This post is fixed term/secondment for 9 months to meet the needs of the service.
