Job summary

The post holder will make a significant contribution to the success of the diabetes service of Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board by providing high quality administrative support to the multi-disciplinary team (MDT). The post will be part of the administrative team but will take general direction and day-to-day work form the diabetes MDT.

The postholder will be responsible for a range of secretarial and administrative duties including management of the paediatric waiting list, booking patients, typing letter, stock ordering via Oracle, updating paediatric diabetes information systems and corresponding with a range of stakeholders.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will make a significant contribution to the success of the diabetes service of Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board by providing high quality administrative support to the multi-disciplinary team

The post will be part of the administrative team but will take general direction and day-to-day work form the diabetes MDT.

This post provides secretarial support to the clinical psychologist for paediatric diabetes, as well as general administrative support to the multi-disciplinary team (MDT).

The postholder will be responsible for a range of secretarial and administrative duties including management of the paediatric psychology waiting list, booking patients, typing letter, stock ordering via Oracle, updating paediatric diabetes information systems and corresponding with a range of stakeholders.
