Job summary
The post holder will undertake duties to ensure the upkeep of a clean and hygienic environment within the hospital Ward, inclusive of inpatient and non-patient environments under the direction of the Domestic Services Supervisor.
They will follow departmental procedures and provide a responsive cleaning and decontamination service for patient and non-patient areas throughout the healthcare premises.
The post holder will work across traditional staff group boundaries to provide an effective and timely service and maintain a safe and pleasant environment.
All work to be undertaken in line with Health & Safety, COSHH and cleanliness policies and procedures, and with a commitment to customer care, following on the job training.
On occasion, the post holder may be required to work at a unit other than their base unit.

20 hours working Monday - Friday
Provision of high standards of cleanness of clinical and non clinical areas of the Princess of Wales Hospital site
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
