Job summary
Working with the Head/Deputy Head of OH for Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (CAV HB) and Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (CTMUHB) to manage, organise and develop the provision of an efficient, effective and professional Occupational Health (OH) Service and be involved in all aspects of its service delivery to promote and maintain a high degree of physical, mental and social well-being for all employees of Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (CAV HB) Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (CTMUHB).
Work with the Head/Deputy Head of OH to develop and implement collaborative working model across CAV HB and CTMUHB Occupational Health Services.
Provide quality healthcare to employees by continually advising staff and management on the protection of employees against any physical or environmental health hazards which may arise from their work or from the conditions in which that work is undertaken.
The post holder will line manage a group of Occupational Health nurses andPhysiotherapists and hold a small clinical caseload themselves, as well as leading and influencing the development and implementation of organisation and departmental policies and procedures.

- Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional with current, live Professional Registration
- Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (Occupational Health) Degree or equivalent Diploma with experience in this field
- Master's Degree or, equivalent demonstrable experience, skills and knowledge
- Management training/leadership course
- Relevant clinical and management experience
