Job summary
To be responsible for the day to day co-ordination of Outpatient appointments and Outpatient Clinics, ensuring the right patient attends the right clinic, on the right day at the right time: in addition to have responsibility for the preparation of all case notes adhering to departmental policy. To be responsible for the management of the partial booking wizard and to assist and support the supervisor and junior staff within the department. You will be required to provide cover when required at any hospital with the Health Board.
Main duties of the job
To maintain the partial booking invitation wizard in line with departmental procedures.
To coordinate all follow-up appointments in a timely manner
To track, locate, file and retrieve case notes.
To prepare and provide case notes for clinics.
To input and extract data from the HB's Myrddin system
To file documentation in an accurate and timely manner
To postpone and reschedule follow up appointments and monitor cancelled and reduced follow up patient clinics.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
This post is fixed term for 12 months due to - meet the needs of the service
