Job summary
The Emergency Department is a small-medium friendly department seeing approximately 64,000 adult and paediatric patients per year. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Specialty Doctor to join the multi-disciplinary ED team.
A full time specialty doctor works 10 sessions per week, with 8 clinical and 2 non-clinical sessions. The rota is an extremely flexible annualised rota and the pattern of work is tailored to individual requirements to ensure sustainable working and good work life balance.

Essential
- Full GMC registration with a license to practice
- MBBCh /MBBS /relevant medical degree
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK
- Advanced Life Support Provider
- Minimum of 4 years work post registration
- Minimum of 2 years working in Emergency Medicine in the UK
Desirable
- Advanced Life Support or equivalent instructor
- FRCEM Primary and Intermediate
Knowledge
Essential
- Broad experience in Emergency Medicine
- Good clinical knowledge, acumen and judgement
- Good relevant practical skills
- Understands the principles of audit and clinical governance
- Understands the importance of patient safety and risk
