Job summary
Applications are invited for a Waiting list Clerk, based at Prince Charles Hospital. This post is on offer at 30 hours per week on a permanent basis.
To provide a comprehensive administrative and clerical service to the waiting list team, following appropriate systems, procedures, policies and processes.
Main duties of the job
To make sure that all of the relevant patient medical records and x-rays are available and complete as required.
Working to tight deadlines, able to determine priorities
To file all results and investigations in the correct patient's medical record.
To ensure that all requests for investigations are processed.
Provide clerical support, following appropriate systems, procedures, policies and processes, to the team.
To support the booking officer in the booking of patient theatre procedures
