Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clerk Typist to work within the Urology Department at The Princess of Wales Hospital. The post holder will provide typing and clerical support for the department teams.
The post holder will also be expected to liaise in a professional manner with colleagues, visitors and patients and undertake a wide spectrum of admini strative duties.
Main duties of the job
- Plan own day to day tasks and duties.
- Undertake routine typing and audio typing of clinical correspondence.
- Support Medical Secretaries within the team.
- Liaise with patients, General Practitioners and other Health Boards/Trusts.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
