Job summary
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to work as Waiting List Booking Officer within our Urology Team in the Royal Glamorgan Hospital. As Waiting List Booking Officer you will ensure that the waiting lists are managed efficiently by working within specific process and systems of work following USC and RTT Guidelines. The successful candidate will work as part of a busy team ensuring all patients move through their pathways in a timely manner.
Main duties of the job
The main duties will be updating booking and rescheduling of appointments and ensuring all capacity is fully utilised for the diagnostics within the Urology Treatment Centre. Contacting patients by phone, negotiating appointment dates/times and adjusting patient pathways accordingly. Administrative and clerical duties supporting the clinicians and nurses. You will need excellent communication skills, operational and interpersonal skills.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
