Job summary
The Health Board is implementing a Hospital e-Prescribing and Medicines Administration (HePMA) system. The post holder will have a key role in a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and wider professionals, to ensure the successful implementation and safe utilisation of the Cwm Taf Morgannwg Health Board HePMA system.
You will join the clinical informatics team at an exciting time and play a pivotal roll in shaping the digital transformation of clinical services within the health board.
We are looking to recruit 3 nurses into this post, 1 x permanent contract and 2 x fixed term/secondment for 2 years.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply."
Main duties of the job
The Post holder will use their specialist knowledge and experience, alongside digital skills, to test, develop and configure systems. They will also be required to provide clinical advice to the programme lead.
A key element will be to assist the Senior Informatics Nurse and participate in informing and contributing to the pre implementation planning and delivery plans for the system. They will demonstrate the system, promote the benefits of the system and work with the informatics team to ensure that the system is implemented in a safe and timely manner.
The post holder will support the team and senior informatics nurse, providing specialist clinical knowledge and facilitating training and support for end users.
The post holder will work to support clinical shift working patterns over a 7 day period and is expected to work in a variety of clinical settings including inpatient wards.
