Job summary

This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for someone to help shape and deliver next generation pathology digital services and contribute to service transformation at scale.

The national laboratory information management system (LIMS) in NHS Wales is due to be upgraded to TrakCare Lab Enterprise (TCLE) as part of the LIMS 2.0 programme. LIMS 2.0 is high priority programme for CTM Pathology and we are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to lead on the implementation.

The post holder will have extensive clinical systems management experience, be expected to provide technical subject matter expertise and provide management and leadership to the Pathology informatics team.

They will lead and support the development and maintenance of Pathology LIMS and IT solutions across CTM and will lead on the development of the Pathology digital systems roadmap to improve both clinical and operational processes to support the care group objectives.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be the lead subject matter expert and support the development and maintenance of the Pathology IT solution across the CTM Pathology network. They will develop and manage the resources , skills and abilities of the Pathology IT team required to sustain the efficient, economic and effective activity of the service.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
