Job summary
We are currently seeking a well motivated, organised and enthusiastic individual to provide a comprehensive clerical, reception service to the Integrated Sexual Health Service. The post holder will work as part of the team to ensure a high quality service is delivered efficiently and effectively.
The post will be based at Quarella Road, Bridgend but would also involve travelling on a weekly basis to Pontypridd . A Driving Licence therefore is essential.
Good communication skills, an excellent telephone manner, keyboard skills and ability to work under pressure and as part of a team are essential.
Full in house training will be supplied.
Main duties of the job
The role will consist of reception duties to cover all clinics. The meeting and greeting of all patients, supporting additional administrative needs of the patients and working as a team with the clinical staff. There will be the inputting of data on our specialised software, also general office based duties. The scanning of documentation, photocopying and ensuring sufficient stationary is stocked at all times.
Triaging duties will be required working out of Dewi Sant Hospital, Pontypridd engaging in making appointments for all our community clinics.
As part of an integrated service, the post holders may be required to work in both the hospital and other community clinics in exceptional circumstances.
Assisting with creating a welcoming, caring and safe environment within the services delivered.
Deal with the general public and demonstrate good customer relations on behalf of the Health Board ensuring confidentiality at all times.
Undertake receptionist duties including answering telephone, booking appointments, registering patients attendance at clinics.
General clerical duties, photocopying, scanning and ensuring sufficient stationary stocks are upheld in the department.
Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
