Staff Nurse - GP Assessment Unit

Job summary

Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patients care with varying medical conditions within the GP Assessment unit in PCH.

The GP Assessment unit receives direct medical referrals from GP Surgeries, out patient clinics or specialist clinics and the aim is to see treat and discharge home to community or inpatient ward.

This is an exciting time to join the Team, we are currently in the process of developing an SDEC service and staff from GPAU will transfer to this new service.

Main duties of the job

Adult Branch onlyThe GP Assessment unit is currently based within the Emergency Care Centre at Prince Charles Hospital.An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and energetic professionals to join the team at Prince Charles Hospital. We are a friendly, enthusiastic and dedicated team of highly motivated skilled professionals.We are looking for a Staff Nurse to join our team.You must possess good interpersonal communication skills, and have the ability to function as part of the multidisciplinary team. Organisation, time management and delegation skills are integral to the role.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
