Job summary

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated fixed term Band 6 Cardiac Physiologist wishing to further develop their skills within our rapidly developing Cardiac Physiology department. The individual will have sufficient experience post qualification, at Band 5 level and be looking to expand their current knowledge and experience.

This is fixed term post for 12 months to cover service needs.

Main duties of the job

The department offers a broad range of invasive and non-invasive diagnostic tests, including a wide range of ambulatory monitoring, physiologist led/medically supervised ETT, Echocardiography, Cardiac Device implantation and follow-up (pacemakers, resynchronisation and high voltage devices)as well as diagnosticCardiac Catheterisation.

We are looking to appoint someone who will relish the challenge of being part of our team and possess the initiative and drive to complement the responsibility of this role.

Applicantsmust hold a BSc in Cardiac clinical physiology or equivalent, ASCT Part 1and 2 or equivalence.

RCCP / AHCS registration

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
