Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, determined and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our Acute Medicine and Care of the Elderly Team at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital , Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board.
This is a static position which will help deliver urgent care to our clients. Specialized assessment and clinical reasoning skills are required.
You should have the ability to work in a fast paced environment and make discharge based decisions as part of the MDT.

Main duties of the job

To contribute to service development and on occasions lead on particular service development initiative.
To provide peer support including teaching within the physiotherapy service.
You will also be part of a mandatory Respiratory On-call evening/overnight and weekend rota.
The post holder will provide specialist advice, assessment and treatments to a range of acute medical and care of the elderly patients. Excellent problems solving and communication skills are essential.
The post holder will have an opportunity todevelop their clinical and leadership skills.
