Job summary
We are seeking to recruit a SCPHN Health Visitor to a generic Health Visitor post within the geographical area of Bridgend. This is specifically to deliver the Healthy Child Wales Programme, as well as promoting the health and wellbeing of children and families. The post holder will be a dynamic and motivated individual, who is proactive in embracing and facilitating the provision of an effective Health Visiting service. You will have a SCPHN Health Visitor qualification or be imminently awaiting results.
Main duties of the job
You will work within a team of other Health Visitors managing a caseload of families with children between the ages of 0 - 5. The focus is on delivering key public health messages through completion of the Healthy Child Wales Programme. We advocate strong collaboration with our partner agencies and promote effective multi-disciplinary working which facilitate positive outcomes.
If you have excellent communication skills, work well independently as well as part of a team and have a desire to main positive outcomes for children and their families, then this post may be of interest to you.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
