Trainee Advanced Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care

We have an exciting development opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced nurse who who would like to extend their scope of their practice to an advanced level.
The post holder will be expected to undertake a three-year training programme under Annex 21 (Band 7) working towards achieving the MSc Advanced Clinical Practice qualification to meet the KSF outline of this Band 7 Job Description and to undertake all duties within the Advanced Nurse Practitioner Primary Care Role.
Annex 21 Band 7 remuneration applies (65% of the top of Band 7 pay for Year 1, 70% of the top of Band 7 pay for Year 2, 75% of the top of Band 7 pay band for Year 3).
The post holder will work with primary care teams and will be supported by a medical mentor in practice. Following completion of the qualification, you will be supported to the ANP role, undertaking the duties indicated within this job description.
The minimum qualifications needed to be accepted onto this programme are; post registration qualification to Degree Level 2:2 or above or diploma level with at least 100 credits at level 6.
This is a development role, therefore those candidates who already hold the required qualification, training and experience will NOT be considered at this time.
Main duties of the job
This is a training and development role. The post holder will undertake a three-year training programme working towards achieving the MSc Advanced Clinical Practice qualification and develop the necessary training and experience to meet the full KSF outline of the Advanced Nurse Practitioner within Primary Care.
