The post holder will sit within well-established multi-disciplinary teams, providing specialist psychological knowledge and expertise to the team. This role provides an opportunity for a Band 7 Therapist to work within OPCMHT, providing a high quality psychological therapy service to the teams and locality population. This primarily includes providing a psychological assessment and therapy service to older adults under secondary care mental health services (Part 2 of the Mental Health Measure, 2010), as well as consultation and training as required for staff within the wider OPCMHT. The role will sit within MAS teams, and the successful candidate may provide pre-/post-diagnostic therapies as appropriate for those within the MAS pathway. There is also potential for work on the Older Person's Mental Health inpatient wards as required.
