Health Care Support Worker role-Ward 19/Royal Glamorgan Hospital
An opportunity has arisen for a HCSW to join a team of experienced nurses working on one of our busy Medical wards which specializes in Respiratory conditions. We are looking for a HCSW with the relevant skills, a caring attitude and individuals who strive to provide high standards of care to all patients.
We have full and part time vacancies available.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant with be responsible for taking care of a group on patients on a day to day basis. This will include helping the patient with daily living activities, including personal care, recording observations and documentation of care given.
You will have the opportunity to develop your skills, under the supervision of qualified nurses, caring for patients who are acutely ill with medical conditions. This ward is a busy area that provides an excellent opportunity to develop and gain experience in dealing with patients in a short and medium-term care environment.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
