Then our new weight management service is the place for you. Cwm Taf Morgannwg Health Board are developing a new level 2 and 3 weight management service and this is an opportunity to be involved from inception.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for two experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated dietitians to join a new level 2 and 3 multidisciplinary weight management service. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the team at the beginning of this exciting new service. The MDT includes consultant and GP sessions, band 7 dietitians, public health dietetic staff, a psychologist, physiotherapists and support staff.
The team will be based at Keir Hardie Health Park and deliver services across the health board. There will be options for flexible and home working.

Main duties of the job
To support the provision of health care, to the people of the Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board by providing an efficient and effective dietetic service to a defined specialist caseload of patients. To have clinical responsibility for a predominantly weight management caseload made up of outpatient clinics, and structured group education sessions for adults referred into the CTM UHB weight management service. To work as part of a multidisciplinary team which will include community medical, nursing, therapy staff and other colleagues and agencies both within the hospital and the community.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
