Job summary
Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is looking for an organised individual to ensure the efficient and effective support to the People Senior Team in leading and directing the provision of a general management duties across the directorate.

The People Services Business Support Manager will be responsible for:
- will provide project management support and ensure all work programmes are co-ordinated and provide regular feedback on progress
- will produce relevant reports to key committees and external bodies to provide assurance on quality of services, within agreed time limits and deliver against reporting requirements
- will work closely with the People Senior Team in co-ordinating the work programmes of the wider team
Main duties of the job
The Business Support Manager will work closely with the People Senior Team in co-ordinating the work programmes of the wider team.
The post holder will provide project management support and ensure all work programmes are co-ordinated and provide regular feedback on progress.
To provide business management, policy, corporate, and operational support to the People Directorate. This is a key role to ensure efficient and effective support, which includes preparing monthly/quarterly reports, overseeing policy development and contracts, providing high level support to projects and undertaking specific tasks.
The post holder will also support the development and implementation of a range of policies, which will impact upon the whole organisation.
This post is fixed term for 12 months to meet the needs of the service.
