Job summary
CTM currently has a team of 31 radiologists, as well as 8 reporting radiographers who report musculoskeletal and chest x-rays, as well as CT colon and CT head. We also have consultant breast radiographers working within the HB and have embraced role expansion at an early stage.
The Snowdrop Breast Unit will be opening in May 2022, with a further expansion in April 2023. This provides an opportunity for individuals to join the breast imaging team which will ultimately be covering the whole population of CTM. You will be joining a team made up of consultant radiologists as well as consultant radiographers, with the expansion to include breast clinicians as previously. This makes us a true multidisciplinary team, even within radiology.
The successful candidate will be covering breast only, with sessions both within CTM and Breast Test Wales. There will be close team working between the teams on all 3 hospital sites.
CTM is going through an exciting period of change as we continue our merger with Bridgend and further develop the team working ethos which has been fostered. This is an opportunity to join our forward thinking, friendly team and be part of something great!
