Job summary
This is a Consultant post based in Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board for the Community Drug and Alcohol Team in the Merthyr and Cynon Valley and you will be joining Colleagues in a very dynamic and forward looking Directorate, with supportive colleagues and a culture where development and progression is embedded. The Postholder will be managerially responsible to Dr Najeeb Khalid, Clinical Group Service Director. The Postholder will be required to liaise with Clinicians as and when necessary. Further the Postholder will be expected work at other UHB Sites if required.
Main duties of the job
This post is one of three consultant posts in psychiatry of substance misuse in Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board. This post provides Consultantleadership to Community Drug and alcohol Teams in Cynon and Merthyr. It supports the Community Drug and Alcohol Team (CDAT) service for Merthyr and Cynon Valley areas.
