An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, innovative and highly motivated individual to join the Primary Care Dental Services Team, as a Senior Primary Care Manager.
The post holder will support the key functions of general dental service contact commissioning, including contract and performance management of dental contracts, supporting collaborative development, and planning to support the organisation in the delivery for its objectives.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will lead operationally on the development of primary care dental services at Hywel Dda level and will undertake service development and transformation providing an overview and liaison role at County/Cluster level.
- Support the development and performance management of the primary are dental contractor service to enable local integration and development of pathways to improve access to NHS dental Services working across community and specialist dental services to align with the Primary Care Model for Wales.
- Be responsible for the management and performance management of the General Dental Services (GDS) contract and practicedevelopment through innovation and contract reform for Hywel Dda dental practices. They will also work with the Senior LocalityDevelopment Managers to ensure integration of Dental Services in Cluster planning.
- Have lead responsibility for the implementation of new ways of working such as the development of contract reform practices, budget management and innovative service redesign.
