Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join our team at Amman Valley hospital for a position of a cook. The post is 1 x 7.5 hours per week on a Friday shift. Extra hours are available to cover annual leave and sickness if needed.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will need to be able to work individually or as part of a team producing high quality meals for patients. Being flexible to the needs of the service and previous experience in preparing special dietary needs would be an advantage for this post but not essential.Candidates must have City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or equivalent, plus basic Food Hygiene level 2 .
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Hywel Dda University Health Board plans and provides NHS healthcare services for people living in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire, and bordering counties.
We have over 13,000 staff and together we provide primary, community, in-hospital, mental health and learning disabilities services.
We work in partnership with the three local authorities, as well as public, private and third sector colleagues, including our valued team of volunteers.
