Job summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our Radiography bank team supporting departments across Hywel Dda University Health Board. The ideal candidate will be a skilled practitioner who is flexible, well-organised and proficient in accurate image acquisition.

The Radiology departments across the Health Board have gratefully benefited from substantial Welsh government investment over the last three years. Much of the equipment is brand new with further planned upgrades in the near future.

Main duties of the job

As an experienced practitioner, you will confidently adapt to the evolving needs of the service, ensuring the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality care across all Radiology settings. As a Bank Radiographer, you may be called upon to cover shifts at short notice, with opportunities available across day, evening, weekend, and overnight hours.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Hywel Dda University Health Board is the planner and provider of NHS healthcare services for people in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and its bordering counties. Highly specialised and tertiary services commissioned by the Welsh Health Specialised Services Committee, a joint committee representing seven health boards across Wales.
