Job summary
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Sister / Charge Nurse in the Endoscopy Unit at Glangwili General Hospital.
This is a full time post, with a flexible approach to a six-day working week and includes an On Call out of hours rota.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will have endoscopy experience and be an enthusiastic team member, with effective organisational and communication skills.
The post will involve the care of patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. Taking charge of the unit, ensuring that standards are maintained and acting as mentor to junior staff. Working closely with the multi-disciplinary team and other health professionals. Helping to develop all aspects of the endoscopy service, in line with the Health Board strategies, and working towards the maintenance of the JAG accreditation.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
