Job summary

This appointment is offered for fixed term Clinical Fellows in Acute/General Medicine. We are looking for three doctors to join our team. One for a fixed term with a full rota for 12 months from 2nd May 2025. One for a fixed term 9 months Monday to Friday, with no on call rota from 2nd June 2025. And one for fixed term for 12 months Monday to Friday, with no on calls from 6th August 2025. The principal place of employment is Glangwili General Hospital, although other working locations may be necessary and will form part of your agreed job plan. This will be subject to change as the Health Board's clinical requirements are amended to meet the needs of the service/patients.

Other hospitals at which duties are performed: In view of the fact that the organisation is currently undertaking a review of its services and the locations at which they are undertaken, it is important to be aware that work patterns may change and the place(s) of duties modified.

Main duties of the job

Doctors wishing to apply for this post must have full registration with the General Medical Council and will have completed at least two years' full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a part-time or flexible basis) General Medicine or shall have equivalent experience and competencies. Postgraduate training opportunities include monthly Journal and Audit meetings, and the opportunity to attend the weekly protected teaching sessions.
