Job summary
Hywel Dda Radiology is looking to recruit a dynamic, motivated Specialise Grade Doctor to join a progressive team of consultants and contribute to the on-going development of radiological services across our Health Board.
Main duties of the job
This appointment is Health Board wide and the successful candidate would join the radiology team to support Breast services and will contribute to the wider workload of the department subject to job plan discussions, including general radiology, second on call rotas, teaching of radiology trainees, reporting Radiographers, undergraduate students, and other hospital staff. Flexible working arrangements will be considered and discussions as to individual requirements and how they could be accommodated are welcomed.

- Full GMC Registration and Licence to Practice
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
- Postgraduate qualification (eg. European Diploma in Radiology
Desirable
- FRCR or equivalent qualification
- Relevant Higher Degree e.g. MD; PhD; MSc, MRCP
Clinical Experience
Essential
- Expertise, competence and experience in General Radiology
- Knowledge of UK hospital systems (or equivalent)
- Knowledge and participation in CPD
- More than four years of post graduation clinical experience with two years of experience in radiology.
