Job summary
This is a key role in the delivery of General Medical Services to those patients that are registered with a Health Board Managed Practice. The post holder will need to demonstrate a track record in delivery of safe and effective patient care, team management and excellent organisational skills with an ambition to drive service change and modernisation that ensures that the Managed Practice is working to national and local policies as well as adhering to the terms of the Unified GMS contract.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will have a designated Managed Practice for which they have operational and managerial responsibility, however they will also hold a lead area of expertise which will extend across all of the Health Board Managed Practices:- Finance, budgets and premises- Governance and Concerns- Enhanced Services Commissioning and Claiming- Human Resources
The post holder will be expected to work from other Health Board Managed Practices as dictated by service needs and pressures.
