Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Health Care Support Worker to join the nursing team to work on Tysul Eye Unit at Glangwili General Hospital. 15 hours per week.
Main duties of the job
The Unit supports pre-assessment, ophthalmic day surgery, nurse led clinics and emergency clinics on a daily basis. We also support the AMD service in Amman Valley Hospital and staff will be required to travel here on a rotational basis. The service has expanded and will continue to do so to meet the service needs.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Highly specialised and tertiary services commissioned by the Welsh Health Specialised Services Committee, a joint committee representing seven health boards across Wales.
