Job summary

Are you a first level General Nurse or a Registered Mental Health Nurse with varied experience looking for a new challenge? If so, an exciting opportunity has become available in Hywel Dda University Health Boards Long-term Care Service.

This is a diverse role for a Senior Health professional within the Hywel Dda University Health Board, expected to be a member of the Directorate of Primary Care, Community and Long Term Care. The successful candidate will assist the Head of NHS Long Term Care in the delivery of the statutory policy and legal framework for NHS Continuing Health Care and NHS Funded Nursing Care as well as developing, implementing and auditing regulatory procedures, and providing support and professional nursing advice for independent contractors and Nursing Homes.

Main duties of the job

You will be working closely with the independent nursing home sector promoting evidence based clinical practice through research and audit and be responsible for continuous performance improvement within this sector utilising effective contracting and commissioning processes.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
