This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping and modernising Mental Health services in Hywel Dda University Health Board. As a Band 7 Team Manager you will take a lead role in a community mental health centre managing a multidisciplinary team.
North Ceredigion CMHT are co-located with the North Ceredigion CRHT in Gorwelion Day Centre and work towards a joint approach to patient care with the aim of developing a single seamless service to meet the needs of our patients on an individual basis within the CMHC.
You will need to have excellent leadership skills, along with the energy and enthusiasm to manage the team, whilst maintaining excellent level of care to our current secondary care patients.
Main duties of the job
You will need to be able to manage your own workload, work well under pressure, and be able to work within a multi-disciplinary team. You will also be working collaboratively with multiple agencies. You will need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and awareness of Health Board wide Policies and Procedures.
The Team Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day co-ordination and operational management of the service. You will provide visible and accessible leadership to staff within the Service. You will be an experienced manager who can provide pro-active leadership and coaching to aid the development of the team, in line with the organisations core values to deliver a safe and efficient service to those accessing it and ensure good patient experience within our services.
Ongoing support and professional development will be provided alongside personal development.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Hywel Dda University Health Board is the planner and provider of NHS healthcare services for people in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and its bordering counties.
