An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 Administrative Office Co-ordinator to join our Community Nursing single point of access service for Ceredigion County. The service operates 7 days a week from 8am -8pm, including bank holidays.
The post holder will demonstrate a calm and confident approach to your work demonstrating excellent administrative and communication skills and the ability to manage and prioritise workloads effectively. Team working and the ability to be flexible is important to ensure that service provision can be delivered efficiently and effectively.
Main duties of the job
Main duties involve supporting the referral and triage process for the Community Nursing Services within Ceredigion . Assisting with scheduling of Community Nursing activities. Monitor waiting lists and caseloads. Create reports, conduct audits and ensure compliance. To provide comprehensive administrative support to the Service. Responsible for the day-to-day management of the administrative functions of the Service.
The post holder will be responsible for maintaining records both manually and on a computerised systems and demonstrate the ability to handle sensitive and confidential patient information.
Provide cover in the event of other administrative staff being absent.
The role may involve travelling to and working across other sites in support of service delivery.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
