Community Mental Health Nurse (Adult ADHD)

Job summary

This is a fixed term/secondment vacancy until 31/03/2024.

If you are an internal applicant this post will only be offered on a secondment basis and you will need to have gained your line managers approval for the secondment prior to going to interview.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the developing Adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Service within the Hywel Dda University Health Board region.

This is a time-limited resource to address the Adult ADHD waiting list.

We would welcome applications for full or part time roles and flexible working or additional hours arrangements.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will need to be organised, enthusiastic and have an interest in ADHD.

The role involves carrying out DIVA 2.0 assessment & titrating service users onto medication. Experience of carrying out DIVA 2.0 assessments is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.

This is an excellent opportunity to expand your professional development and be involved in a developing service.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

  • Numerous locations providing mental health and learning disabilities services;
  • Highly specialised and tertiary services commissioned by the Welsh Health Specialised Services Committee, a joint committee representing seven health boards across Wales.
