An Exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, motivated and innovative Assistant Practitioner, to join the team on Ward 9 in Prince Philip Hospital, Llanelli.
Ward 9 is a Stroke and Rehabilitation ward , comprising of 29 beds, including a 5 bed Acute Stroke Unit. The successful candidate will need to have a keen interest in Stroke and Rehabilitation Care and be committed to delivering a high standard of patient care. Main duties of the job
The post requires the Level 4 Certificate in Healthcare (or equivalent award/experience) OR has previously held NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
However applicants who do not currently hold all the necessary competencies to a Band 4 level are encouraged to apply and, if successful, will be appointed under Annex 21 rules whereby 75% of the top of Band 4 will be payable during the 12 months. Applicants would be supported to develop their competencies required to fulfil the role within 12 months. Following successful completion and successful attainment of skills and competences for the role, the post holder will then be paid at band 4 (minimum point on the scale). Failure to achieve the competencies in the designated timeframe could result in re-deployment.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
