Job summary

A vacancy has arisen for a motivated and well organised permanent Senior Child Health System Operator working full time at Ty Nant, Glangwili Hospital, Carmarthen

The postholder will take the lead role for child health administration support for the Health Visiting and School Nursing Teams and will share responsibility for providing training and practical support in using the Child Health System, ordering and maintenance of supplies where needed and supervising the Child Health Office. Attention to detail is paramount.

Main duties of the job

Using the Child Health System enter data / amend children's details efficiently and accurately and run specific reports as required.

The post holder will also be required to arrange and process clinic sessions, liaising closely with GP practices, Nurses, Health Visitors, School Nurses, Health Board Staff and other health care professionals.

The post-holder will take a lead role for the child health administration support, share responsibility for providing training and practical support in using the Child Health System, cover for ordering and maintenance of supplies where needed and supervising the Child Health Office.
