Hywel Dda University Health Board present an exciting opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to join our Intermediate Care Team in Pembrokeshire as Band 7 Clinical Physiotherapy Lead, leading the "Front of House" Therapy services (A&E/ACDU/SDEC), focused on rapid turnaround of patients and flow of patients out of the Hospital.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the post holder will support the development of person centred and streamlined clinical pathways over 7 days as well as deliver and oversee Physiotherapy input/resource within the Front of House services as part of Intermediate Care, to provide timely and patient-centred care.

Main duties of the job
The ability and skills to work autonomously and alongside team members in a coordinating and clinical role. The successful applicant will provide clinical leadership, specialist expertise and supervision to Physiotherapists, Therapy Assistant Practitioners, and students. There is a strong educational element to the role by promoting Therapy and delivering training both within and external to the team.
As a versatile postgraduate, you will have a strong clinical grounding in older people rehabilitation, wide experience in Frailty, Neurological, Cardio-Respiratory and MSK conditions, and a good understanding of Front of House services, Frailty pathway, Intermediate Care Services, Community services, and the wider Therapy team. As part of the Physiotherapy Service, you will work seamlessly with the other teams that act within the Front of House and Intermediate Care Services.
We are looking for an individual with great interpersonal skills to network with Acute and Community colleges to co-ordinate a responsive, seamless service across pathways and sectors. You will have organisational ability and a commitment to service development by developing the evidence base for evaluation through audit, clinical effectiveness, and research activity. As appropriate, there will be an expectation to deputise for senior management.
