Job summary
We are seeking to appoint 2 x LPMHSS Practitioners.
The post holder will work within the Local Primary Mental Health Support (LPMHS) Service providing a range of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) 1:1 based interventions along with other high volume low intensity interventions such as psychoeducational groups targeting those with mild to moderate common mental health conditions.
The post holder will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages (adults aged 18 years upwards) using interpreters when necessary and should be committed to equal opportunities.
Main duties of the job
Essential to the post is the ability to work in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team and with voluntary organisations, local authority and other appropriate health and social care sectors to negotiate care provision across the primary/secondary care interface.
